So this week I read some tales from the Jakata Tales. Many of them seemed to share a very similar moral, as if the most important thing is to curb foolishness. Yet, at the same time it seems as if you're also supposed to take advantage of the foolishness of others when you can.
Out of all of the stories that I read The Ox Who Won the Forfeit was my favorite. It seemed to be one of the only stories that didn't really focus of foolishness but instead on compassion and kindness to all things. The Ox helps his owner after his owner realizes that 'you can catch more flies with honey than vinegar' (not that I want to catch flies...ever).
